This assignment is distinguishable from other GIS Specialist positions in that the primary and significant emphasis of this role is to administer, implement and support the Cityworks AMS (Asset Mangement System) for Gas and Electric divisions of the Energy Resources Department. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing Cityworks templates for Workorders, Service Requests and Inspections; developing technical documentation such as SOPs, business process flow diagrams, and training guides; training department end users and mentoring Energy Resources GIS group staff; developing Cityworks AMS queries and configuring dashboards; researching best practices and supporting implementation of Equipment, Labor and Material functions; help the department to migrate from Cityworks Office environment to Cityworks Respond environment; testing system upgrades; establishing application governance; maintaining current relevant Cityworks AMS knowledge and keeping abreast of new developments for the Cityworks AMS product family. This position also includes developing and maintaining PowerBI reports for both GIS and CMMS data.
