CCIP or OCIP short pays by customers

One of my companies sold a job with CCIP (contractor controlled insurance program) and the GC is withholding the perceived CCIP premiums from our Job Billing Invoices, creating aging A/R amounts. Has anyone discovered a good way to not reflect the open amounts on the A/R but still show them as billed? With respect to payroll (since our employees should be removed from our insurance policy when they're on customer's site), how does one handle that to both identify to our insurer AND reduce our overall job cost?

I'm interested in this information as well. I'm really new to OCIP/CCIPs. When a client short paid our retention for the CCIP costs, I created a deductive mod to offset it. One of our current jobs requires both the CCIP participation and a full set of certs for offsite activities with additionally insured, etc. to them and the GC. It's almost as though we're paying for two policies at once. My broker said that in the annual insurance audit we should not include the OCIP/CCIP shouldn't be calculated into that since that project is covered under the OCIP/CCIP program.

Hello All, Posting OCIP/WRAP can be a challenging job. I have attached a snip it of how we do the adjustment for OCIP. You first need to show pay the invoice and then do a adjust as a second step (see attached). You may need your finance manager add the GL for WRAP Insert Image Hope this helps.
