Long Post Test 2
As you dive into The Network, you can earn points, climb ranks, and receive badges based on your level and amount of activity.
Think of our rank and badge system as your ticket to fame—other users will spot your level of engagement and see just how awesome you are. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a little bragging? Plus, climbing the ranks comes with some pretty sweet perks like gift cards, Trimble swag, and more!
With 12 whopping ranks, our ranking system allows us to recognize members at every stage of their Network journey. Your ranks and badges will be proudly displayed on your profile. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the leaderboard to see who’s crushing it in the points department.
Learning The Network Points System
Here's a little bonus: the points you earn are yours to keep forever, so your standing on the leaderboard can only go up, up, and up!
Here are all the ways you can earn points in The Network:
- 100 points for providing the best answer to a topic
- 75 points for creating a topic
- 50 points for replying to a topic
- 25 points for each like received
- 10 points for liking a comment/post
All About the Ranks
Moving up the ranks isn’t solely based on how many points you have. Multiple factors determine a member’s rank, such as how long you’ve been a Network member, comments you’ve made, topics you’ve created, and likes given and received.
Level 1: Blueprint Novice
Welcome to The Network! We are excited to have you here! As a Blueprint Novice, you are getting familiar with the community, learning how to participate and connect with other members, and gaining an understanding of our core values. You’ve got the basics down—now it’s time to build on them. The only direction from here is up, so buckle up!
Level 2: Toolbox Apprentice
Congratulations, you are no longer a Blueprint Novice. As a Toolbox Apprentice, you’re starting to find your groove in The Network, making connections, and getting involved. We love the enthusiasm. Keep it up, and who knows where you’ll end up—the sky’s the limit!
Level 3: Junior Engineer
We see you climbing up the ranks! Being a Junior Engineer showcases your dedication to The Network and your professional growth. You’re not just connecting with fellow construction pros—you’re also mastering your Trimble tools and leveling up your business game. Keep climbing; you’re on your way to greatness!
Level 4: Construction Enthusiast
Look at you, making strides! As a Construction Enthusiast, you're constructing your presence in the community, connecting with others, and contributing valuable insights. You've got a solid framework and now you're adding strength and expertise to the mix. Keep on constructing greatness!
Level 5: Foundation Builder
I think we are in the presence of a future master. You are making your mark in The Network. You're not just part of the community—you’re guiding it. You've mastered the basics and are now directing others, sharing your knowledge, and shaping the future of construction discussions. We see endless possibilities for you!
Level 6: Hard Hat Hero
Ohhhhh we’re halfway there! Ohhhhh we make a great pair! (See what we did there? Don’t forget to sing it). You are halfway to reaching the highest rank in The Network. You're well on your way to becoming the community's go-to for all things construction. You’ve got tools we didn’t even know existed, and you wield them like a pro. Just remember, with great power comes great responsibility—and maybe a few more jokes.
Level 7: Design Leader
Whoa, slow down there! You’re fast becoming the designer of knowledge and fun around here. You’ve got the design to succeed and the personality to match. Keep this up, and we might just start taking notes from you!
Level 8: Future Visionary
We are looking towards the future. Are you? Being a future visionary, you must! You're seeing things the rest of us can only dream of (or maybe just haven’t thought of yet). You're not just ahead of the curve; you’re practically designing the next one. Keep creating new topics related to your brilliant ideas—just don’t forget to share the secrets of the future with the rest of us!"
Level 9: Principal Pioneer
Welcome to the big leagues! As a Principal Pioneer, your opinion carries some serious weight around here—no pressure! You’ve got the experience, the knowledge, and probably a hard hat somewhere in the closet. Continue to make us proud!
Level 10: Ground Breaker
Woah! You’re almost at the top rank. Now you’re just showing off! As a Ground Breaker, you’re the brains behind the operation, with a dash of humor to keep things light. You’ve got the smarts, the charm, and the know-how to make anything happen—no blueprint required!
Level 11: Construction Tycoon
Can you see it? Can you feel it? You are one rank away from the highest rank. You have surpassed everyone’s expectations. The Network wouldn’t be as special without your presence. You've developed the skills to handle anything that comes your way, from big ideas to minor setbacks (and probably some caffeine-fueled brainstorms in between).
Level 12: Super User
Bow down, everyone! As a Super User, you've reached the summit. You're the legend of legends, the master of masters, the…well, you get the idea. Congratulations on your amazing achievement. You have had a massive impact on all the members of The Network, including us, The Network Community Team. We want to say a special thank you for your tremendous support and positive impact.
What is small, spiffy, rewards your accomplishments, and gives you bragging rights? Network badges of course!
Badges are our way of recognizing you for your outstanding achievements in The Network.
Unlike ranks, which you naturally climb as you progress and engage in the community, badges are special awards you earn by completing specific actions. There are many ways to snag them—like giving feedback on a Trimble product, being on a panel, getting your answer to a question marked as the best, and much more!
Curious about someone’s badge collection? Just hover over their profile picture, and a pop-up will show you their hard-earned flair. You can also browse all the available badges by clicking the “Show All Badges” button on the right side of your screen under the most recent badge winners. Keep an eye out, though—new badges can drop anytime!
Missing a Badge?
Do you see a badge that you should have? No worries! Comment on this article and a member of the Network Community Team will look into it for you.
Are Your Badges Visible?
Earned some shiny badges but don’t see them on your profile? Odds are, your Badge Display setting might be turned to “no.” But don’t worry—it’s an easy fix! All you need to do to fix this is go to your Profile Settings > General, and select “Yes” under “Display your badges.” Boom—your badges will be front and center for all to see.
