Long-term environmental health can directly impact future profitability by affecting regulatory compliance costs, resource availability and prices, reputation and brand value.

It is important to think about a triple bottom line which encourages companies to be focused on more than just profit. We need to be concerned with how we affect people, and the environment in addition to profit, to ensure we are positively impacting the world which we are to steward.

I believe there's a lot of opportunity in the construction industry to demonstrate that we can be a leader on sustainability.

I believe the change has to have the right infrastructure in place. Making change just to make change without the correct infrastructure is just a waste of resources and can negatively impact what we hoped to positively impact. Efficiency can be achieved if infrastructure is in place or sufficiently built out before following through with the 180 change.

Seeing more tax incentives or rebates would help businesses get onboard faster.

I think it is important for businesses to consider the long-term impact of their activities on the environment and not just the bottom line.
