There have always been a lot of women in the office, but we are seeing many more women in the field. It is very nice to see and would like it to continue.

At our company we have women in all types of positions - women are out on construction crews (laborers/operators), salespeople, and office workers. Promoting and fostering a better work-life balance, especially for women with children or those caring for an elderly adult (this also needs to happen for everyone (not just women)) to attract more workers to the construction industry. Lean on the woman next to you for support and encouragement if you are just starting out!

As a woman in the industry, I am thankful that my employer values my work and treats me equally as my peers.
