According to the Network members who participated in our Construction Trends survey, most predict that challenges from past years will persist in 2023 — namely, hiring and supply chain issues, along with the threat of entering a recession. And, yet, most are still optimistic. Members also shared their insight on the biggest construction technology trends that are expecting to see in 2023: Insert Image For a more comprehensive overview of the survey results, check out the Construction Trends 2023 here. Do you see anything in the results that you're surprised by, agree with, or disagree with?
Has anyone taken the Team classroom training for Admin & PM or for Analytics? How about the paid classroom trainings Spectrum offers in the Academy such as Controller, PM, Payroll, etc? Worth it? We utilize the free classes, but they are pretty basic. Wondering if we are shorting ourselves by not putting some users through the paid trainings or the Team training to "train the trainer". Any feedback would be appreciated.
We are excited to announce that The Network was recently honored with the CustomerX Impact Market Trail Blazer award! This recognition would not be possible without all of YOU! We're looking into OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software for our AP department. Essentially a software that can read our invoices and automatically populate the information into Vista. Just wondering if anyone is currently using any OCR software and how it's working for them.
One of my companies sold a job with CCIP (contractor controlled insurance program) and the GC is withholding the perceived CCIP premiums from our Job Billing Invoices, creating aging A/R amounts. Has anyone discovered a good way to not reflect the open amounts on the A/R but still show them as billed? With respect to payroll (since our employees should be removed from our insurance policy when they're on customer's site), how does one handle that to both identify to our insurer AND reduce our overall job cost?
Just curious, we have 150 employees, and when calculating payroll in Pro Contractor, (all timecards function), the calculating takes at least 20+ minutes. And often, I have to re-calculate, and re-calculate. Is there something I can be doing to speed this up? Anyone else have this issue?
Has anybody noticed that comments are deleted from the knowledge articles? I went back to check on something in a knowledge article today, and I am pretty sure that the comment that I made was removed?
